The ICAR sponsored National Agriculture Higher Education Project is running at DBSKKV Dapoli. From past few months NAHEP is organising different training, workshops for students and faculties. The main objective of the project is to increase employability in students, Developing entrepreneurship in students and Improving different skills in faculty. Workshop on “DBSKKV Alumni industry Linkages for entrepreneurship and Employability ” successfully organized by NAHEP IDP , DBSKKV , Dapoli on 3rd July 2022 at CIFE , Versova.
Finalizing Alumni Industry Linkages for innovation , incubation , internship, crowd funding , dedicated infrastructure and *Development of short course in skilling small scale Agri-entrepreneurship are the main objectives for this workshop. Hon. Vice chancellor Dr. S.D.Sawant was the president for this workshop. CIFE Joint director Dr. Narottam Sahoo was guest for this programm.Total 140 alumnis from the batch of 1975 to 2014 participated in this workshop. Registration of this workshop was done digitally through QR code scanner. The workshop divided into two sessions. First the inauguration session happened and after that technical session started. In technical session PI NAHEP IDP DBSKKV Dapoli Dr. P.S.Bodake sir gave a brief introduction about the workshop and its objectives. After that in the discussion session alumnis discussed the objectives and brainstormed different suggestions. In panel discussion session few alumnis suggested some ideas. Those ideas are collected in the telegram group created through QR code scanning. In the presidential address Hon. Vice chancellor Dr. S.D.Sawant sir quoted some examples of few universities where because of alumnis help universities built different infrastructure in no time. He also appealed all alumnis to help the university in any way possible. Co Pi Dr. S.V.Sawardekar sir did the vote of thanks after presidential adress. On behalf of NAHEP IDP he thanked everyone for attending the workshop and the workshop ended on a good note.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli (DBSKKV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIF Incubation and Entrepreneurship Council – NIFientreC in virtual mode on dated 28/06/2022 to strengthen cooperation for development in the areas of entrepreneurship, grassroots innovation, and innovation in agriculture.
Through this MoU, both DBSKKV and NIFientreC would ensure mentorship support and infrastructure support for student innovators, grassroots innovators, and innovative farmers.
